1Win Kenya: Official Terms & Conditions

Welcome to 1win Kenya. These Terms and Conditions form a binding legal agreement between you and the Company, governing your use of all services offered via the 1Win Kenya platform, including sports betting, casino games, and promotional offers. By registering an account, making a deposit, or placing a bet, you fully agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must cease using the 1Win Kenya platform immediately.

Eligibility, Account Registration and Verification

Minimum Age and Residency

You must be strictly 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the Republic of Kenya to register and place bets on 1Win Kenya, in compliance with the Betting, Lotteries and Gaming Act  and regulations from the Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB). The Company reserves the right to request proof of age and residency at any time.

Single Account Policy

Each User is permitted to open and maintain only one (1) active betting account. Any attempts to open multiple accounts ("Duplicate Accounts") to exploit bonuses or promotions are strictly prohibited and constitute a breach of this Agreement. In the event of Duplicate Accounts being discovered, the Company reserves the right to:

• Immediately suspend all related accounts.
• Void all bets placed and winnings generated from the Duplicate Accounts.
• Confiscate any associated bonus funds or payouts.

Know Your Customer 

To ensure compliance and prevent fraud, money laundering, and underage gambling, the Company will carry out mandatory verification procedures. You agree to provide all necessary personal identification documents (ID, passport, utility bills, proof of mobile number ownership, etc.) as requested. Failure to complete KYC verification to the Company's satisfaction may result in the suspension or permanent termination of your account and the withholding of withdrawals.

Deposits, Withdrawals, and Financial Terms

Funds and Currency

All transactions on the 1Win Kenya platform are primarily processed in Kenyan Shillings (KES), although other currencies may be supported subject to prevailing exchange rates. You agree that all deposits made to your account must be from a payment source (e.g., M-Pesa, bank account) registered in your name.

Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawals will be processed using the same method used for the deposit, where possible, and only after full KYC verification is successfully completed.

• Withdrawal Limits: Minimum and maximum withdrawal limits apply per transaction, as detailed on the platform's payment page.
• Processing Time: While the Company aims for fast processing, withdrawal times can range from a few hours up to 72 hours, depending on bank and payment provider processing times and mandatory security checks.

Taxes on Winnings

In accordance with Kenyan law, all winnings are subject to a statutory 20% Withholding Tax which the Company is legally obliged to deduct and remit to the relevant Kenyan tax authorities before any payout is made to the User. By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge and agree to this mandatory deduction.

Betting Rules and Acceptance

Bet Acceptance

A bet is not officially accepted until a confirmation message is displayed and recorded in the Company’s transaction logs. The Company reserves the right to reject, limit, or refuse any bet at its sole discretion without providing a reason.

Obvious Errors (Palpable Errors)

If a bet is accepted at a price that is materially different from the market price, or due to an obvious error in the odds display (e.g., an error in the fixture time, or an incorrect "Palpable Error" price), the Company reserves the right to:

• Correct the error and settle the bet at the correct market odds or the odds that would have been available had the error not occurred.
• Void the bet entirely, with all stakes returned to the User.

Event Cancellation or Postponement

If a sporting event is cancelled, postponed, or its venue is changed, the following will generally apply:

• If the event is rescheduled to take place within 48 hours of the original start time, all bets will usually stand.
• If the event is rescheduled for more than 48 hours later, or is cancelled permanently, all bets will be declared void, and stakes will be refunded.

Bonuses and Promotions

General Bonus Terms

All bonuses, including the welcome bonus, free bets, and loyalty rewards, are subject to their own specific promotional terms and conditions, which are incorporated into this Agreement by reference. In the event of a conflict between these General T&Cs and a specific Promotional T&C, the Promotional T&C shall prevail.

Abuse of Promotional Offers

The Company monitors account activity for patterns of "Bonus Abuse," which includes, but is not limited to, the use of automated systems, syndicates, multiple accounts, or placing large volume bets to trigger bonus requirements artificially. Users found to be engaged in Bonus Abuse may have their bonuses and any associated winnings revoked, and their account suspended or terminated.

You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the services or breach of this Agreement.

1Win Kenya is committed to supporting Responsible Gambling. We offer tools to help you manage your betting activity:

• Deposit Limits: Set daily, weekly, or monthly limits on your deposits.
• Self-Exclusion: You can request to temporarily or permanently exclude yourself from the service by contacting Customer Support.
• Reality Check: Optional notifications to remind you of the time you have spent gaming.
